The MSH Medical School Hamburg - University of Applied Sciences and Medical University is a private, state-recognized university located in the modern Hamburg Hafencity.

It was founded in 2009 and offers a variety of bachelor's and master's degree programs in four faculties, as well as a state examination program in human medicine.


We are currently seeking a full-time
Research Associate (m/f/d), with a focus on Systems Medicine/Systems Biology to join our team at the university's Faculty of Medicine and the Institute for Systems Medicine (ISM) in Hamburg-Hafencity.

At the
AG-Relógio, we work with physiological, pathological, and biological data from experimental and clinical studies.

Our research focuses on the interface between clinical and basic research, and the application of knowledge about circadian rhythms to maintain health and optimize treatment in case of illness.

We are particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms that connect the circadian clock with changes in cellular processes in the context of cancer.


Your responsibilities:


  • Your main task will be to contribute to research projects that investigate the interaction between the biological clock and human health, particularly in the context of disease progression.
  • You will also assist in the preparation of funding proposals and manuscripts.
  • Cosupervision of students.
  • To a limited extent, you will also be involved in teaching in the medical program at MSH (scientific work).
