Description
At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a gardener / landscaper / road builder / skilled worker for trackside services for DB Netz AG at the Braunschweig location.
*Your tasks:- You are responsible for the constant maintenance of our rail network and track systems with a focus on track drainage
- This includes inspection, maintenance and repair work as well as vegetation removal on items such as rails, sleepers, track bed, and structures
- Using a GPS measuring device and tablet, you conduct inspections on our track drainage systems
- In your daily work, you always keep the safety of your team members in mind
- Your work begins and ends at your central base, but there may also be assembly assignments within the region
- You primarily work outdoors
- You will go through our internal qualification program, attend regular training sessions, and continuously learn
- You have successfully completed training as a gardener / landscaper, skilled worker in civil engineering, steel construction, concrete construction, metalworker, bricklayer, or a similar profession
- You have the necessary ambition and aptitude to acquire further qualifications in the track construction trade
- You are willing to work in shifts (night, weekend, and holiday work) and outdoors
- You enjoy physically demanding tasks and working in a team
- A valid driver's license of class B completes your profile
