Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments and update patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Verify insurance information and collect copayments
- Assist with patient checkin and checkout processes
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients and staff effectively
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software
- Previous experience in an emergency room (ER) setting
- Ability to operate multiline phone systems efficiently
Job Type:
