At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a mechanic / welding specialist for accident maintenance (m/f/d) for DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH at the Krefeld location.
Your tasks:
  • You carry out grinding and welding work on rail vehicles (MIG and MAG welding)
  • You test materials and components according to PT / VT / MT
  • You carry out your work independently according to written instructions
  • You also perform commercial and technical activities in accordance with guidelines, based on order and production documents
  • You identify damages and are responsible for their elimination in consultation with various interfaces
  • It is natural for you to enter and maintain all information on the required documents
  • In addition, you contribute to the continuous improvement process
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed a minimum of 2.5 years of vocational training in the field of metal processing, e.g. metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic or comparable
  • You have very good specialist and basic knowledge in the field of metal processing as well as in reading technical drawings
  • You have professional experience in MIG
