The Job

The Jellycat Diner Experience Associate will be responsible for delivering the in-store Jellycat Diner Experience, selling plush diner food and exclusive Jellycat merchandise.

This role is a part-time position which will serve as an ambassador for the brand, and is an enthusiastic and motivated team player who is passionate about using brand and product knowledge to guide guests and generate sales.

What You'll Do
Guest

• Be a confident performer, using scripted talking points with added individual flair to make the experience feel unique.
• Build authentic connections with guests to effectively guide them through the steps of service.
• Be able to adapt your style to engage both children and adults as they visit us in the store.
• Demonstrate great selling techniques to meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Be the expert in your area and ensure all information provided is accurate.

Team

• Make recommendations to evolve and innovate the characters and/or experience to excite our guests.
• Share expertise with colleagues to help elevate experiences for our guests.

Store

• Complete weekly assigned administrative tasks to ensure all experience supplies are available to fulfill guest orders.
• Be able to replenish areas of the store as needed to maintain standards.
• Escalate any maintenance issues that may prevent delivering the experience as planned.

What You Have

• 1+ year experience in a fastpaced premium retail or experiencebased environment.
• An engaging and theatrical personality that can captivate an audience in all environments.
• Ability to remain positive and in character for extended periods of time without losing any of your magic.
• Experience in a performance, acting, music, or dance background a plus.
• Familiarity with a premium or experiencebased retailer a plus.
• A love of the FAO and Jellycat brands that translates to fantastic guest experiences and a continued development of product knowledge.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal ability.
• Ability to demonstrate ownership of a department and complete weekly checklists to maintain supply and inventory levels.
• Flexible availability in line with a Flagship Retail environment across days, evenings and weekends.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
