Industrial mechanics are the experts when it comes to maintenance, repair, and operation of machines and production systems.

The training takes place at the Palm paper mill in Eltmann. Here, we produce tons of newsprint paper annually from 100% recycled paper.

Your training with us:

  • You will complete your 3.5-year training at our factory
  • You will attend vocational school in Haßfurt and participate in special courses in a metal workshop
  • You will be gradually introduced to our complex paper machines as well as all other apparatus and machines and their mechanical maintenance
  • You will be involved in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

What you bring:

  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • Independence and sense of responsibility
  • Teamwork skills
