    This is an IN-PERSON, full-time position at Lavner Education's office located in Narberth, PA.

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join our team at Lavner Education. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success and operational efficiency of our organization. The Business Manager will collaborate with various departments, manage financial processes, and implement strategic initiatives to ensure the continued growth and success of Lavner Education.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Financial Management
      • Help to develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls.
      • Help to procure inventory within budget and establish best purchasing practices.
    • Operational Efficiency
      • Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency.
      • Collaborate with various departments to streamline communication and workflow.
      • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team to enhance productivity and teamwork.
      • Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements when necessary.
      • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Strategic Planning
      • Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and goals.
      • Assess market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities.
      • Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and execute strategic plans.
    • Team Leadership
      • Lead a team of department heads and administrative professionals.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
      • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
    • Risk Management
      • Identify and assess potential risks to the organization.
      • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
      • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in risk management.
    • Vendor and Contract Management
      • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
      • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
      • Review and approve contracts for compliance and risk considerations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 5 years professional work experience in business management, finance, or a related role with a track record of achieving results
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Proficient in financial software and Google suite
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities
    • Effective communication skills
    • Strategic thinking and a forward-looking approach to business challenges
    • Inclusive, professional, upbeat, and positive attitude
    • Clearance of all required background checks
