Maternal Health in Midwifery Science (optionally initially as a junior professorship [W1],

if the scientific qualification or at least five years of professional experience after completing university studies has not yet been achieved)

The Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences and Health at Coburg University offers degree programs in health promotion and bioanalytics, as well as the dual degree program in midwifery science (B.Sc.) at the Bamberg study location.

A professorship in the field of midwifery science will be filled at the Bamberg study location for the winter semester 2024/25 or later.

We are looking for a scientifically qualified and professionally experienced individual who can represent one or more of the following teaching areas in the context of maternal health: gynecology and obstetrics, perinatology, health promotion, health and developmental psychology, pharmacology, complementary medicine, documentation and liability law, digitization in the health sector, quality management, general physiology and pathology, anatomy.

You are excited to shape a holistic professionalization process for healthcare professions with your knowledge in obstetric care. It is important to you to contribute your experiences and your willingness to conduct interdisciplinary research to the development of midwifery science?
