Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the cloud infrastructure and data analytics software team, offering technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Efficiently allocate tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and objectives, optimizing team productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and innovative work culture within the team, encouraging creativity and problemsolving.
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to seamlessly integrate software solutions with various components of the infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement best practices for software development and project management, ensuring highquality deliverables and efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives, aligning software development efforts with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all aspects of software development and deployment.
  • Manage budgets and resource planning for the software team, effectively balancing project requirements with available resources.
  • Design and develop software/firmware solutions for projects involving sensors, control systems, communications, and navigation.
  • Enhance testing automation, software quality, and data analytics capabilities to improve overall system performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot issues in production environments, identifying root causes and implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Support flight testing activities, both locally and at remote sites, to validate software functionality and performance under realworld conditions.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and supervising teams to deliver successful software projects.
  • Proficiency in software development languages such as C/C++ and Python, with specialized knowledge in ARM microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with realtime systems, Linux development, and lowlevel communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Understanding of control systems, robotics, and sensor technologies, enhancing capability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to effectively lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, essential for addressing complex software challenges efficiently.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in avionics software development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in coordinating and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commitment to prioritizing software safety, reliability, and compliance with aviation regulations throughout the development process.
  • A continuous learning mindset, staying abreast of advancements in software technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Additionally, understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform would be advantageous in managing cloud infrastructure and data analytics projects effectively.


Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA.
