***Please note: this is a Tuesday-Saturday position, 11am - 8pm eastern.
**Responsibilities:**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Explore the complexities of Customs processes and engage with international trade regulations
+ Manage the receipt, review, and input/transmission of documentation for United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) release
+ Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and maintainproper documentation for shipments
+ Showcaseproficiency in customs brokerage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
+ Maintain accurate databases for Customer SOPs and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
+ Oversee customer invoicing and contribute to accounts receivable/payable activities
+ Honor customer-specific SOPs for a personalized approach, while upholding high operational standards to ensure exceptional performance and customer service
+ Communicate effectively with Customers, C.H. Robinson offices, Agents, and Outside Vendors
+ Cultivate positive working relationships within the team and efficiently utilize C.H. Robinsons extensive network and support teams

+ High school diploma or GED
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
**Preferred:**
+ Associates or bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
+ Strong communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills
+ Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
+ High attention to detail

_Its important to note that per the Customs Regulations, specifically 19 CFR e), a Customs Broker is required to receive written approval from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) if it knowingly employs any person who has been convicted of a felony. For this reason and unless prohibited by state or local law, we will perform our initial background check and an annual check for any person employed in a Global Forwarding Customs Brokerage Department._
