- Conduct psychotherapeutic and other clinical treatment sessions for individuals, families, and groups.
- Complete all required case records and statistical reporting documentation within specified time frames.
- Completing Comprehensive Assessments and Individualized Treatment Plans which determines medical necessity.
- Provide direct service for 70% of work hours.
- Facilitate consultation and outreach to assure the provision of holistic treatment.
- Attend monthly all staff meetings, clinical case staffing's, and designed in-service sessions.
- Timely documentation of all services provided.
- Monitoring ongoing comprehensive assessments and treatment plan service delivery as specified in Sinai BH policies and procedures.
- Provide mental health services to individuals with commercial insurances as an Independent Provider within the clinics assigned. Provide services under Clinicians' NPI number.
- Ability to do clinical supervision for colleagues working towards licensure.
- Ability to do individual psychotherapy based on an identified theoretical model (cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, interpersonal, or other): Knowledge base of the theoretical underpinnings of the identified style of therapy and having formal/clinical training on it.
- Ability to do clinical supervision for interns during the academic year.
- Other duties as assigned
- Master's in social work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Marital Family Therapy or related behavioral health program that is a license eligible degree
- LSW, LCPC or LMFT required
- Must be culturally competent
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

The psychotherapist is responsible for providing psychotherapy and other treatment services that affirm clients' strengths, broaden their problem-solving abilities, and increase their self-knowledge.
Psychotherapist will practice as an independent provider within the clinic assigned. Psychotherapist is responsible to ensure that appropriate documentation is completed as required for billing, coding and professional standards. The therapist acts as a mentor and leader to newer staff and master's level students/interns. Candidates must have exceptionally good interpersonal skills, clinical insight, and comfort/experience working with individuals.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Evaluation for suicide:
