Service Champions is looking to hire a full-time Residential Electrical Technician to join our team. This position requires completing residential service calls consisting of troubleshooting, basic light and fan installation, service upgrades, and outlet replacements. This is a full-time, non-exempt level position reporting to the General Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champion's quality and safety standards
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
Meet sales goals and metrics
Experience in setting units.
Experience with all types of HVAC systems and how each electrical component within the system operates
Experience with overall operations of the system as a whole.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive "can-do" attitude over the phone and in person
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven, multi- discipline environment
High level of professionalism and integrity
Exceptional written, math, and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
5 years of prior electrical experience within a service company, preferred, but not required
High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred
Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
Availability to work a variable schedule between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, based upon business needs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
May work in closed or cramped space on occasion.
