Description
The Villages is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Train Traffic Controller (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Eisenach.

The vocational school is located in Schkeuditz. If certain requirements are met, we will support you with longer commutes (e.g. financially). As a trainee, you will become a coordinator for our trains. However, you will not be on the train itself, but in a control center (called a "signal box"). We have countless signal boxes throughout Germany.

Using screens or boards, you will be able to monitor the trains in your area and use buttons, keys, and levers to influence their journey.

With the push of a button, you can change signals (traffic lights for the trains) to green or red, and also switch tracks so that the trains can change tracks.

You will also have many other tasks that make you a crucial team member for the train drivers. You will be in constant contact and exchange information about any changes during the journey.

You will work in the Erfurt area or in the Eisenach region at a signal box close to the action.

Here, you will see the trains passing by. The train traffic is usually controlled using levers, buttons, rotary switches,
