Your tasks and responsibilities

You will receive and process benefit applications, particularly for new and renewed benefits, in cases of medium difficulty.

Taking into account the personal circumstances, you will determine the appropriate level of support and ensure timely payment of benefits.

You will work closely with internal departments (e.g. job placement) and external organizations (e.g. health insurance companies, pension funds, youth and social welfare agencies, or housing benefit offices).

Your responsibilities also include ongoing processing of benefit cases (e.g. income calculation, especially for earned income, procedures for changes in income or personal circumstances, data matching according to § 52 SGB II) and regular reassessment of benefit entitlements.

Additionally, you will provide advice and information to clients on benefit-related matters of medium difficulty (e.g. income and asset questions).

You will frequently work with specialized computer programs, electronic files, and digital documents.
