We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant Apprentice to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, making your workday dynamic and engaging.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing them with important information and assisting the doctor during examinations and treatments.

This career path involves a 3-year apprenticeship program.


Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with medical examinations and treatments
  • Providing care for patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Administering first aid in emergency situations
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and hygiene protocols
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and tasks
  • Performing administrative duties such as handling mail and ordering necessary materials
  • Billing for medical services
  • Writing medical reports
  • Learning various communication methods
  • Documenting patient information
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection and security measures

Qualifications:

  • Interest in the medical field and ability to work well with people
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Structured work approach and excellent communication skills

Compensation:
At Barmherzige Brüder, we offer a competitive apprenticeship salary:

  • 1st year: €1,218.26 gross
  • 2nd year: €1,268.20 gross
  • 3rd year: €1,314.02 gross
