Fox News Media (Fox Nation & Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather) has a new, exciting opportunity for a Freelance Graphic Designer on our marketing design team.


In this hands-on design position, the Freelance Graphic Designer will be an integral member of the design team and report to and collaborate with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and Vice President, Creative Marketing.


The Freelance Graphic Designer will work across all the multi-varied brands under Fox News Media including our new, groundbreaking entertainment brand - Fox Nation.

There is nothing quite like Fox Nation's brand in the television/streaming/entertainment worlds.

The service is a unique blend of entertainment programming, movies, cooking, reality and history series as well as politics and news.

The Freelance Graphic Designer will work on creative in the fast-paced world of Fox News, Fox Business, and Fox Weather.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Execute creative solutions based on various clients' business needs- Design with the ability and flexibility to match style to a specific project- Help to design polished and refined Key Art, Logos, Banners, and storyboards- Take direction and feedback from multiple sources with the ability to pivot accordingly- Designing art that spans across the digital, print and OOH, on-air promotion teams, and more- Provide production support to teams across digital and print channels.

- Production design with the ability to reformat existing art into multiple sizes at a high volume- Strong daily execution and skill in layout, typography, key art, logo design, and storyboarding- Manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently- Help to maintain brand consistencies- Stay up-to-date with current design trends, techniques, and processes; seek and recommend new best practices- Contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced team environment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED- 3+ years as a Graphic Designer- Complete knowledge and proficiency in all the latest design tools, platforms, and versions of applicable software programs - Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)- An excellent communicator to liaise with internal teams, executives, and creatives as needed- Ability to take direction on multiple projects at once- Attention to detail and quality control are a must- Very thorough understanding of production processes- Excellent creative, conceptual, and critical thinking abilities- Ability to multi-task while working independently and with your team- Expert knowledge of compositing and reformatting for multiple spaces (print and digital)- Expert knowledge of competitors' art and keeping up with design and key art trends across all media


NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER- Interest/knowledge in a combination of politics/news/entertainment/history/pop culture- Project Management software such as JIRA and SLACK- Relevant experience at a studio, television network, or creative agency servicing the entertainment industry.

- Knowledge of fundamental design terminology plus the latest advances and trends- Finishing and retouching experience/knowledge to make sure final art feels premium and elevated and pushes innovation
