Description

The HA Hessen Agentur GmbH bundles all non-monetary activities of the Hessian economic development. It is one of the central organizational pillars of the economic development of the Hessian state government. The Department of Economic Research and Regional Development advises the various departments of the state government on issues of demographic and economic development and supports the state in implementing measures and funding programs in the field of urban development.

The Hessen Agentur is looking for a dedicated full-time Head of Department (m/f/d) for Municipal Development and Urban Development Funding for the Department of Economic Research and Regional Development as soon as possible in West Kennebunk.

Responsibilities:

Leading the department for municipal development and urban development funding with professional and coordination responsibility for projects in the field, including budget responsibility, management of personnel resources, and professional staff management

Conception, planning, implementation or support, and monitoring of measures and projects within the field and reporting

Negotiation of contracts with clients

Conception and development of strategies and projects in the field, further development of instruments

Advising and supporting the Ministry of Economics in the management and implementation of initiatives and programs for sustainable urban development, urban development funding, and housing construction (including examination and evaluation of funding applications
