Description

Your future tasks at Middleway will include:

  • As part of a development team, you will design components, machines, and systems, taking into account functional, economic, and scheduling aspects. You will work closely with our in-house and external manufacturing teams.
  • You will create production documents and oversee the prototyping and series production processes.
  • You will conduct basic experiments at our facility or at customer sites.
  • You will travel approximately 30 days per year to conduct experiments and commission machines and systems.

These professional and personal skills are required:

  • You have successfully completed an engineering degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or a related field, preferably with work experience.
  • It is also desirable to have completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical trade.
  • You have detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of 3D CAD systems, particularly SolidWorks (preferably in conjunction with SAP).
  • Ideally, you have some experience in designing machines for the food industry.
  • You have strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have excellent communication skills, creativity, reliability, a structured approach to work, and enjoy working in a team and a hands-on mentality.
