Description

1. Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass our pre-employment Reading and Ruler tests

Minimum of one year previous Quality Inspector experience
Knowledge of quality assurance, familiarity with manufacturing environments, knowledge of equipment and processes, ability to read and understand product specifications.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds w/out help
Bending, crouching, walking, standing, pushing, sitting.
Ability to fluently speak and understand verbal insurance in English
Ability to sufficiently read and write in English to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.

Activity:
Near vision, mid-range vision Data entry, keyboarding, talking, hearing, detailed work with hand motions

Salary $17/hr w/ no exp., $19/hr w/exp.
Hours: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Rotating Days at our Crystal Lake location

6:00 am to 2:30 pm, M-F at our Cary location

Reports to: Quality Manager
Training: on shift

The Quality Inspector is a key player in performing routine checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of materials, goods in-process, and finished goods to keep productivity at peak levels 24-hours a day.

They will report to our Quality Manager and interact with all levels of the company in order to make sure customer specifications and quality guidelines are met.
