The city of Iredell, TX is currently seeking a Clerk (m/f/d) for the Treasury Department in Department 2 to start as soon as possible.


Compensation:
A 10 BayBesG / Pay group 10 TVöD


Working hours:
Full-time


Vacation: 30 days of vacation entitlement for a 5-day work week


Your main responsibilities:


  • Processing and enforcement of municipal claims, particularly claims for business taxes and private claims, including the creation of enforcement titles (outstanding lists/summons), issuing enforcement orders to bailiffs and the city's enforcement field service, installment payments through enforcement deferral
  • Enforcement of movable assets (seizures and garnishments)
  • Enforcement of immovable assets (forced administration/forced auctions and registration of security mortgages)
  • Coercive detention and substitute coercive detention procedures
  • Processing of temporary and permanent waivers, if necessary with the creation of meeting proposals and their booking, as well as processing of waiver requests
  • Processing of settlement and insolvency proceedings
  • Participation in business prohibition proceedings
  • Determination of reminder fees, default surcharges, default interest and enforcement costs, as well as court and bailiff costs
  • Deputy management of the Treasury Department

Requirements:


  • Completed degree in Dipl. Administrative management, Bachelor of Arts Public Management, employee training course II, civil servant in the higher nontechnical service in municipal enforcement or comparable, or civil
