Haymarket Center is seeking a Development Specialist to join our team
The Development Specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation of development and marketing/communications activities to support Haymarket Center.

This includes efforts to manage communications strategy, digital marketing, community outreach, and event management with the goal of engaging broad audiences to increase resources.

Oversee the organization's communications calendar and lead the creation of all digital communications and website content for the organization.

Support efforts to oversee the organization brand and update and maintain print collateral.

Assist with planning and execution of special events, especially related in-kind solicitations, coordination of day-of fundraising activities (i.e. auctions, raffles, etc.), and volunteer management.

Serve as staff lead on the planning of West Loop Summer Fest.

Coordinate outreach opportunities and attend community events as a representative of Haymarket Center.


Serve as a liaison to the organization's Associate Board, providing guidance with recruitment, event planning and volunteering logistics, as well as overall strategy.


Requirements:


Pay:
From $45,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Fundraising: 1 year (preferred)
Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
