Are you personally and physically suited for firefighting and rescue services and interested in fire protection and extinguishing work? Do you enjoy working in a team and have a high level of resilience? Then apply now for the training as a factory firefighter (m/f/d) in Waltham.

During your training, you will learn how to extinguish fires, handle firefighting equipment, perform rescue work, and of course, drive fire trucks.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment and vehicles. Together with our partner companies, we offer you an exciting and diverse entry into professional life.

Requirements:

A good secondary school diploma or high school diploma
Minimum age of 18 at the start of employment
Good knowledge of physics and manual dexterity
Physical fitness

What to expect:

A training period of 3 years
A variety of training locations in Hessen for technical training, basic firefighting training, paramedic training, and C/CE driver's license training
A final exam by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce

Your tasks:

Plan and carry out measures for preventive fire protection
Operate and check fire protection facilities and fire alarm systems
Maintain and service fire trucks and technical firefighting equipment
Perform manual work for firefighting operations, such as electrical and metal work, and carpentry
Conduct firefighting and rescue operations
Perform rescue, safety, and recovery work
Initiate measures for medical emergency care
