Description

The Competence and Service Center CEUS at Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg is seeking to fill a full-time position or two part-time positions (50% each) as a Business Intelligence Developer (m/f/d) with reference number T10/2024. The position is initially limited to two years and will be available at the earliest possible date.

CEUS is the Business Intelligence Competence Center for higher education in Bavaria. Its responsibilities include designing, implementing, operating, and further developing data warehouse systems for Bavarian state universities, universities of applied sciences, and the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The center also provides training and technical support to decision-makers at universities for creating individual data analyses.

To expand our team, we are looking for a person to work on the further development of data analyses and underlying data structures for data-driven analyses in the "Student Life Cycle" area. The role also involves providing technical support to users at universities.

Your Responsibilities and Application

Analyze technical requirements and evaluate possible solutions in close coordination with users and the team
Implement business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy product range
Further develop database structures and ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
Analyze, monitor, and improve data quality
