THE ROLE**When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
  • Executing lower
  • level behavior interventions with students of concern, including check
  • ins and check
  • outs, student reflections and de
  • escalation;
  • Helping progress monitor student behavior trackers;
  • Conducting inclass push ins/pull outs to help with deescalation and coping skills;
  • Monitoring students in detention and inschool suspension;
  • Performing discipline data entry;
  • Assisting Teachers with the supervision of students in all instructional settings;
  • Assisting Teachers with behavior management techniques by demonstrating, modeling, and positively reinforcing desired behaviors;
  • Monitoring students during transition times throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom, including hallways, cafeteria, gym, and other areas where students are present;
  • Monitoring inschool suspension;
  • Holding students accountable to campus behavioral expectations and administer appropriate consequences;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

years of experience working with students and student behavior

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited fouryear educational institution, in a social science field

Compensation - **This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; salary offers commensurate with experience.
- **Health and Supplemental Insurance*
  • A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
