Happy, TX is looking for a new team member to join our CJG Hermann-Josef-Haus, a children and youth welfare facility in Bonn-Bad Godesberg under the management of Caritas-Jugendhilfe-Gesellschaft mbH.

Our facility offers a diverse and coordinated range of services in the areas of residential, semi-residential, and outpatient care, based on the Child and Youth Welfare Act (SGB VIII) and the Social Welfare Code (SGB XII).

We are currently seeking an additional staff member for our Open All-Day School starting on August 1st, 2021.

Position:
Support Staff for Open All-Day School (m/f/d)

Hours: 7-15 hours/5 days a week


Responsibilities:

  • Support and guidance from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, depending on the daily schedule
  • Supervision of homework
  • Planning and ensuring the pedagogical group work and structure
  • Creative leisure activities
  • Participation in parent and teacher meetings
  • Encouraging and developing motivation, interests, and skills
  • Household tasks

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in group work, integration assistance, or youth welfare is helpful
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for working in a team, with a focus on promoting open allday care and education
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and organizational skills
  • Competence in group pedagogy and leisure activities
  • Teamwork skills,
