Examples of Important Duties:

Lead the initiative to better evaluate programs and services we provide to patrons and visitors. Develop small and large-scale surveys for a variety of audiences.

Expand upon the current process to develop, track, and share measurable performance outcomes to meet the ever-changing needs of a diverse audience.


  • Lead a team to research and develop useful written guidelines/procedures to measure the quality of programs and services. Establish training curriculum and lead sessions to guide M-NCPPC staff as they continue to evaluate programs and services.
  • Create an in-depth, useful Department-wide Communication Plan to address roles, processes, staff accountability, deadlines, and more. Identify and prioritize the need for revised, enhanced, or new procedures. Ensure that all resource manual, data compilation/use, survey results, and best practice adjustment deadlines are met.
  • Lead high-profile research work around gathering accurate data, and the efficient and effective utilization of the information. This position works across Departments and DPR Divisions on a routine basis.
  • Performs supervisory functions as negotiator and administrator of consultant scope as they lead agency-wide projects. Manage the work of committee members, career administrative professionals, Term-Contract and Seasonal-Intermittent staff as they strive to meet goals and objectives. Evaluate end results of contractual agreements, reports, and procedural manuals.
  • Oversees a range of responsibilities, to include the proper inventorying and storage of sophisticated equipment, fleet management, travel arrangements, and reporting of expenses.
  • Serves as a member of the Division's leadership team, and as an internal consultant on administrative work program matters. Works independently and seldom needs intervention from leadership. Identifies and implements sound solutions to routine and non-routine problems.
  • Collaborates routinely with the Compliance & Innovation Associates to develop and maintain the data collection (back end) of Department-wide patron/staff survey program, budget performance measures, program/service evaluations, multi-faceted data reports, and other overlapping initiatives.
  • Tracks project costs, manages budget, monitors project implementation and completion, and ensures that all M-NCPPC administrative, and financial policies and procedures are followed. Develops recommendations for budget based on outcomes of tracking process.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, Business or any related field.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resource Management,
finance or any related field.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted, which together total 8 years.
