RN Educator Peri-Op Full Time Days Position Summary
Working under the guidance of the Market Education Director, the Nursing Educator partners with facility/market nursing leadership and staff from different departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and adjust educational programs for all levels of nursing and non-nursing staff as needed. The educator plays a vital role in the orientation and ongoing education of nursing staff at Tenet Healthcare. Implementing a comprehensive education program for assigned units in line with Tenet's educational objectives and vision is key. Educational initiatives cover orientation, continuous education, and in-service training, along with potential contributions to organizational improvement through consultations and participation in councils, committees, and workgroups.
THE RN EDUCATOR PERI-OP CLINICAL FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or related specialty
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current State Licenses & Certifications
