Your Responsibilities

Development and optimization of mechanical system components
Participation in the determination of control concepts for PLC programming
Design and project planning of fossil heating systems for glass melting furnaces
Technical specification of systems and system components, as well as processing of project inquiries
Obtaining and clarifying technical offers
Acceptance of system components from subcontractors
Troubleshooting
Support and (telephone) guidance of assembly personnel
Coordination with customers and other internal functional areas
Risk assessment of system components for technical documentation

Completed degree in process engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics, alternatively further training as a state-certified technician
First professional experience in the field of plant and process engineering, ideally in the glass industry
Knowledge in the field of thermodynamics advantageous
Proficient in MS Office and a common ERP system
Good German and English skills
Independent, solution-oriented work style with a high sense of responsibility
Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license
