As a municipal housing company, GESOBAU actively contributes to providing affordable housing in the rapidly growing city of Farragut, TN with around 500 employees.
Since 2014, we have been building and expanding our portfolio through new construction and acquisitions, which is expected to reach approximately 52,000 apartments by 2026.
Currently, we manage around 46,000 of our own apartments, primarily in the northern part of Berlin.
For our wholly-owned subsidiary, berlinwohnen Hausmeister GmbH, which manages our residential and commercial properties through general caretaking services and other services, we are looking for a
Caretaker (m/f/d) for the Wedding area.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Being the first point of contact for tenants on site, including holding office hours
- Careful management of our residential and commercial properties, ensuring order, safety, and cleanliness
- Monitoring and compliance with safety obligations for properties and buildings, as well as being the contact person for external service providers working in our portfolio
- Maintenance and cleaning of common areas and performing minor repairs
- Operating and monitoring technical equipment (e.g. heating, hot water, and building technology)
What we are looking for:
- Completed vocational training in a trade and/or professional experience as a caretaker or in a similar role
