Job Summary:

We are a growing label manufacturing company located in Murrieta, CA, we currently have three printing presses and two finishing units.

We are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Coordinator/Rewinder to join our team.

The main responsibilities will be to inspect proof sheets to evaluate the quality of printing and help rewind and prepare jobs for shipping.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Reviews work orders and quality forms to understand the scope and parameters of print jobs.
Identifies and follows work orders to ensure accurate rewind direction and label count per roll per customer specifications.
Slits down labels to requested size and ensures the number of labels printed meets the quantity requested on the work order.
Ensures high quality by inspecting labels and removing any defects.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate rewind machine & tools.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Excellent attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to operate rewind machine and tools.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a rewind table.
Must have excellent hand and eye coordination.
Able to bend frequently.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

On the job training will be provided. The work schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. Occasional availability on Saturdays is required when overtime is necessary. Pay is $16 - $18 per hour. Benefits are offered at 60 days of employment, which include sick pay, paid vacation, and 401k with company matching.
