Are you familiar with the size of one hundredth of a millimeter? Perfect, because for us, precision is key. As a machining technician, every unit counts when it comes to manufacturing precision components from various materials.

When working as a machining technician, something is always turning: either the workpiece being processed or the tool itself. This process creates chips - whether it's turning, milling, grinding, or drilling. The professional term for these types of machining is "machining."


During your apprenticeship, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, from programming and setting up machining machines, to initiating production processes, to monitoring and optimizing their quality.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and inspecting the technical availability of your equipment.


Training Structure:
Practical training takes place in the specialized department and is accompanied by a trainer.

The vocational school lessons take place at the Carl-Miele Vocational College in Gütersloh.


Practical Training:
The basic training takes place at the Technical Education Center in the following areas:

Basic and specialized metal training

Conventional turning, milling, and grinding

CNC turning/CNC milling

Fundamentals of control technology

Project work and exam preparation

In the company, apprentices are employed in the following areas:

Quality assurance

Technical services and tool management

Prototype construction/testing center

Machining departments:
turning, milling, and grinding technology: gear, housing, and valve production


Theoretical Training:
1-2 days per week at the
