SUMMARY

DESCRIPTION:
The Registrar attends to the school's main office, front desk, and main telephone

lines, serving as the initial "first level" student, parent, and visitor contact person.

Responsibilities include all aspects of the Student Information System, enrollment system

management, state reporting, and other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATIONS:
Experience, Education, & Licensure

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge,
skills, and abilities.

  • Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint card.

  • Proven demonstration of ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to effectively greet and welcome visitors to the school in a professional and courteous
manner.

  • Ability to contact administrative staff as appropriate should situations become difficult when
attempting to assist any visitor.

  • Ability to communicate with various groups of people, including communication with parents,
teachers, transportation, administrators, and outside agencies.

  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules and independently set priorities.
  • Ability to work as a team member with colleagues.
  • Ability to communicate applicable policies and procedures as necessary with general knowledge of
the characteristics and components of the school.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinates areas of new and returning enrollments. Schedules school tours.
  • Assists with other operational duties, as assigned, which may include the creation and
maintenance of school calendars and routine parent outreach and staff communication (newsletters,

e-notices, marquee, etc.).

  • Maintains the front office reception area and is responsible for facilitating arriving/departing
students, parents and visitors with appropriate documentation and credentials.

  • Administers and reports attendance records.
  • Maintains general parent/student files. Assists in compiling, recording, and publishing report
cards and other academic records.

  • Assists with the production and delivery of internal and external communication
materials.

  • Assists with documenting and/or recording meetings with staff and parents, as needed.
  • Assists with startup materials for each new school year calendars, policy handbooks,
updates.

  • Processes payments for various services (e.g. Kindergarten, club dues, athletic fees,
etc.).

  • Assists, as needed, with the health office, cafeteria, school calendar/event scheduling, and
other general school operations.

  • Provides confidential administrative assistance to the principal in calendar scheduling,
communication with staff, maintaining accurate files, and other duties as assigned.

moderate but sometimes loud. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to

climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move

up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance

vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee

occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid

and extreme heat.


Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
