Working at the German Heart Center at Charité


The Acute Laboratory at the German Heart Center at Charité (DHZC) is focused on specialized laboratory diagnostics for the heart center.

Each year, approximately 1.5 million analyses are provided to the wards, and approximately 30,000 red blood cell concentrates, frozen plasmas, and platelet concentrates are issued.

The results of the examinations are generally available to the wards within 60 to 90 minutes after the samples arrive at the laboratory.


Position Overview
Together with your colleagues in our laboratory, you will take on the following tasks:

  • Work in the diagnostic, diverse, and varied field of laboratory medicine
  • Professional processing of samples using modern equipment and automation solutions
  • Range of analyses: Clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, hemostaseology and special hemostaseology, HPLC/LCMSMS, PCR diagnostics, immunohematology
  • Participation in shift, weekend, holiday, and night shifts
