Nectar is a medium-sized social enterprise located in Duisburg, Germany. Our organization, Lebenshilfe Heilpädagogische Sozialdienste gGmbH, was founded over 60 years ago by a group of parents. Our mission is to support and promote children and adults with and without disabilities.

We operate in seven inclusive kindergartens and family centers, an autism therapy center, an interdisciplinary early intervention program, various residential groups, a day group, and offer counseling on social issues.

This means that our clients can receive all services in one place.

We are currently seeking a Speech Therapist (m/f/d) for our location in Duisburg.

Your responsibilities will include working independently, adapting speech therapy to the needs of the children and current standards, conducting speech therapy assessments and evaluations, documenting therapy sessions and organizing related tasks, and adjusting your schedule to meet the needs of the children.


Qualifications:

  • Completed training as a Speech Therapist (m/f/d)
  • Experience or additional training in the social field is desirable
  • Selfmotivated and passionate about working with people
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Preferably experience working with children aged 07 and their parents/guardians
  • High level of professional and social competence
  • Ability to represent the organization
  • Good selfmanagement skills
  • Proficient in using computers
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
