The Sulzbach-based company is looking for an experienced Linux system administrator to strengthen their IT team. In this responsible position, you will be in charge of the administration and operation of Linux servers. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the systems remain stable, secure, and high-performing. This includes tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers (e.g. CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat), as well as monitoring and optimizing system performance.

You will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring data security and integrity, and creating and maintaining documentation and procedures.

Additionally, you will collaborate on IT projects and take on project management responsibilities.

Job Offer:

Successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable education
At least 5 years of experience in Linux system administration
Good knowledge of Bash scripting and at least one other scripting language (e.g. Python)
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, VirtualBox)
Good knowledge of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSH)
Fluent in German and good English skills (written and spoken)
