Hudson, FL based Hartkorn Gewürzmühle GmbH is a successful medium-sized company that specializes in the production and distribution of household-sized packaged dry spices and herbs.

Under the brand name Hartkorn, we supply spices and herbs to companies in the food and non-food retail sector. We offer a complete range of spices and herbs.


Position Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated specialist (m/f/d) with a commercial background to join our purchasing team.

You will be part of a growing company, working in a motivated team and have an exciting and diverse range of tasks.

Your responsibilities will include traditional purchasing processes, as well as handling complaints and maintaining master data. You will work closely with our quality management team.

We offer a 5-day work week, flexible working hours, and a spacious working environment in our new building in Mülheim-Kärlich.


Your Profile:

  • Interest in herbs and spices and a passion for the food industry
  • High level of responsibility, independence, and accountability
  • Enthusiastic and solutionoriented team player
  • Good understanding of numbers and experience with inventory management systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Completed commercial training
  • Experience in purchasing is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of English is desirable

Your Tasks:

  • Determining needs, obtaining quotes, and managing inventory
  • Placing orders, tracking delivery dates, and recording incoming
