Usability Engineer - Marlow, United States - Omega Dynamics
Description
To excel in this position, you should possess the following skills and experience:- A Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design Research, or a related field, or equivalent professional training
- Familiarity with Usability standards and guidelines such as IEC 62366, FDA Guidance for Human-Factors, and HE75
- Experience utilizing humancentered design methods, including focus groups, interviews, contextual inquiries, usability evaluation, documentation, and reporting
- Demonstrable experience in usability from relevant companies, agencies, institutions, or through personal consultancy
- Ability to work independently on project tasks, with a strong understanding of budget and time constraints, while also driving efficiency and facilitating design quality reviews
- Collaborating with and advising business stakeholders, actively managing relationships, challenging the status quo to promote innovation, and advocating for the user
- Fluent in English.
