- Safely operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and darkroom equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body according to department standards.
- Operates under the direction of the Radiology Manager.
- Prevents unnecessary radiation exposure to both themselves, the patient and other staff members.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Correctly positions the patient while adjusting the imaging equipment to the specified position.
- Follows instruction from the acting Physician regarding which area of the patient's body requires imaging.
- Circumstances may arise where operation of the C-arm is needed
- Performs other duties as needed.

- Current BLS certification
- AART certification is preferred

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technician to assist in providing patient care second to none This position provides technical radiographic services for a variety of technical procedures that require application of prescribed ionizing radiation techniques. The Radiology Technician will explain procedures to patients, establish rapport with patients, position the patient for optimal imaging, and educate patients and staff members on best practices and techniques for optimal and safe results.
