Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct electrochemical and thermal simulations and optimizations at the cell and system level
- Evaluate, validate, analyze, and document simulation results and develop action options with cell development and business development teams
- Present simulation results and provide recommendations in close collaboration with product developers
- Continuously improve and automate simulation techniques and methods
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural sciences or engineering (Chemistry, Physics, Engineering)
- Professional experience in the field of energy storage, preferably with specialized knowledge of lithiumion cells
- Experience in working with external partners
- Experience in modeling and simulating battery cells, including parameterization, validation, and evaluation of batteries
- Experience with thermal modeling and simulation of battery cells, preferably in a vehicle context (ideally with StarCCM+)
- Strong technical understanding
- Highly organized and able to handle changing and diverse requirements
- Enjoy working independently and contributing to the success of the company
- Curiosity, strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, openness, and passion
