Responsibilities:

Independently conduct electrochemical and thermal simulations and optimizations at the cell and system level
Evaluate, validate, analyze, and document simulation results and develop action options with cell development and business development teams
Present simulation results and provide recommendations in close collaboration with product developers
Continuously improve and automate simulation techniques and methods

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural sciences or engineering (Chemistry, Physics, Engineering)
Professional experience in the field of energy storage, preferably with specialized knowledge of lithiumion cells
Experience in working with external partners
Experience in modeling and simulating battery cells, including parameterization, validation, and evaluation of batteries
Experience with thermal modeling and simulation of battery cells, preferably in a vehicle context (ideally with StarCCM+)
Strong technical understanding
Highly organized and able to handle changing and diverse requirements
Enjoy working independently and contributing to the success of the company
Curiosity, strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, openness, and passion
