Your tasksWe are currently seeking a student (m/f/d) to join our Software and Central Technologies department with a focus on press-fit technology (solder-free connections between connectors and circuit boards) starting in September 2024 for a period of approximately 6 months.
The department is a central development department for product development and design of various electronic control units.
In addition to designing and developing individual components (housing, connectors, etc.), the activities also include the development of device concepts and technologies.
Your tasks will include:
- Supporting product development from requirements management to product release
- Designing test tools and fixtures
- Ordering and organizing necessary parts and fixtures
- Coordinating, monitoring, and conducting tests to evaluate mechanical components
- Analyzing and evaluating results
- Discussing and interpreting results with specialists and other departments
- Creating technical documentation and reports
Your profile
- Student in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Basic knowledge of CAD
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken <
