We are currently looking for a permit clerk (m/f/d) for fiber optic expansion in the Stuttgart area for our client in the telecommunications industry.

This position is hybrid, with a majority of the work being done from home. You will split your time between working on construction sites and from home.

Your role in the fiber optic network expansion: preparing, tracking, and coordinating permits.

You will prepare the necessary applications in coordination with a rollout manager, helping to advance broadband expansion in Germany. As a permit clerk (m/f/d) for fiber optic expansion, you will make a significant contribution to the realization of broadband networks in Germany.

Using the plans for the planned fiber optic expansion from colleagues in the network design department, you will make initial contact with district offices, environmental or heritage protection authorities, mayors, and residents. You will ensure that applications for path and site security are processed quickly, prepare the necessary permits for expansion, and confidently handle any inquiries from authorities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Contacting local authorities to obtain necessary permits
  • Coordinating with clients, supply and development companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Reviewing and flexibly implementing requests and requirements from authorities to the satisfaction of all parties
