Overview


Quality Building Services (QBS) is a client-responsive firm dedicated to providing premium cleaning, maintenance, restoration, security, and specialty services throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

Each day, QBS ensures over 30 million square feet of Class A Manhattan office space are maintained to exceptional standards.

Security services are offered through our sister company, Quality Protection Services.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with security equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail

License:


  • New York State Security Guard License (required)
  • 8hour annual Security Officer refresher current (required)
  • 16hour on the job training certificate (required)
  • Fire Guard for Impairment F01 (preferred)
  • First Aid / AED
  • CPR certification preferred
