The State Board of Animal Breeding Associations in Bavaria (LKV) is looking for an

Breeding Consultant (m/f/d)

for the Oberpfalz region, to be based at our administrative office in Schwandorf.

Starting date:
As soon as possible

Part-time position hours/week)

Your responsibilities as a
Breeding Consultant:
As a Breeding Consultant, you will conduct exterior assessments of breeding cattle.

You will work with farmers to develop a breeding strategy for their farm and create individualized breeding plans using the OptiBull program.

  • Agricultural Master's degree or technical school training in agriculture
  • Enthusiasm for new tasks and good communication skills
  • Practical experience in cattle farming

  • Mobility and flexibility, driver's license class B
The position is initially limited to 24 months, with the possibility of permanent employment.
