Responsibilities

As a specialist for warehouse logistics, you ensure a smooth flow of goods at Leipzig/Halle Airport from ordering to delivery and storage to distribution. In addition, you determine shipping costs, assemble loading units, and create accompanying documents. Using modern logistics systems and transportation, you ensure optimal material flow and short handling times. You also load and unload aircraft with cargo and baggage and operate various vehicles.

The training takes place in a dual system and is a 3-year recognized vocational training in industry and crafts. The vocational school lessons are held in block form at a vocational school center in the Leipzig/Halle region.

Requirements
  • You have a good secondary school leaving certificate and an interest in logistical processes. You should also have some experience with MS Office.
  • Reliability, diligence, and a sense of responsibility are not foreign words to you.
  • You are a team player and have organizational skills.
