Job Details:


We are currently seeking a student worker (m/f/d) to join our Data Analytics team at our Mainz location for 12-20 hours per week on a temporary basis.


Your Responsibilities:


  • You will work on data preparation, analysis, and visualization from social media, TV, and streaming sources
  • You will assist in creating regular reports
  • You will research topics such as data visualization and dashboarding tools in the market
  • You will monitor metrics in the social media and streaming space
  • You will support the development and implementation of concepts for managing machine learning models
  • You will assist in the implementation and design of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using media processing systems and web analytics

Your Profile:


  • You are currently studying in fields such as media studies, sociology, economics, statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • You have knowledge and interest in statistical methods and datadriven analytical techniques
  • You ideally have practical experience in data visualization
  • You can tackle complex problems and work with a team to find solutions
  • You are able to structure your work and prioritize tasks independently
  • You have a passion for media
  • You ideally have experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, etc. or with cloud infrastructures (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • You ideally have experience in web tracking (e.g. Google Analytics or Matomo), design/graphics, or
