Join our team We are currently looking for a dedicated
Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d) to join the kitchen of Volkssolidarität in 12683 Berlin-Hellersdorf.

We offer a part-time position with a weekly workload of 30 hours. You will work 5 days a week.


Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of cold and hot dishes
  • Support in the daily cooking process for community catering
  • Compliance with legally valid hygiene regulations, especially HACCP
  • Portioning for our "Meals on Wheels" program and dishwashing
  • Proper storage of food

Your profile

  • Professional experience in community catering
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory
  • Preparation of dishes in the cold kitchen
  • Support in the daily cooking process for community catering
  • Implementation of HACCP
  • Support in the hot kitchen
  • Serving meals
  • Dishwashing and cleaning
  • Motivation and willingness to learn new things

We offer

  • Regular working hours according to the schedule for a 5day week
  • Parttime / 6 hours / Permanent
  • Fair and appropriate compensation with an hourly wage of €12.00
