Description

We are looking for a freight forwarder (m/f/d) for an international logistics company based in Mönchengladbach-Güdderath in direct placement.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training as a commercial clerk (m/f/d) for forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
  • First professional experience in international dispatch and telephone customer service
  • Very good German language skills in spoken and written
  • Good English skills for correspondence with international customers
  • Strong service orientation and high level of commitment
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office applications

Your Tasks

  • You plan and organize international groupage and charter traffic for partial and full loads (LTL/FTL)
  • Responsible for optimal utilization of transport vehicles, as well as freight procurement and sales
  • Calculate current daily prices
  • Negotiate contracts with transport companies and customers
  • You proactively monitor status and allocation and keep an eye on meeting deadlines
