Library Assistant (m/f/d)
(Pay grade 6 TV-L)
in the Department of Usage & Services, initially limited until December 31, 2025 (with the option of extension).
The University Library of Paderborn is the central information service provider for the University of Paderborn, with over 2.3 million information media.
What are your responsibilities?
- Needsbased deployment, particularly in the lending area and in the subject libraries
- Lending and return of information media (using the library system Alma)
- Processing of magazine orders and seminar collections
- Support and advice for users, especially providing information in the lending area and about the book and journal collection of the subject library, assistance with literature research
- Supervision and organizational tasks, shelving, organizing, and sorting work
