At Land O' Lakes, our Strategy and Insights Management teams work closely together as strategists and analysts to provide direction to the organization through our work. We are responsible for the overall strategy process and serve as sparring partners for the business units in developing their respective sub-strategies.

In the Strategy team, we drive the implementation of our platform strategy throughout the company, based on consumer, market, and competitive data collected by our Insights Management team. This allows us to look ahead, analyze strategic options for OTTO, and develop recommendations for top management. We also benefit from networking with colleagues from the Innovation and Sustainability departments.

While many talk about "working from home," we embrace a "hybrid or mobile work" approach. In our team, we work flexibly both remotely and in person.

Your Impact


From day one, you will be part of cross-functional teams and gain deep insights into strategy development at a leading e-commerce player. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to delve deeper into one of the two areas and further develop your analytical and strategic skills through exciting projects:
  • You will research and prepare relevant market, trend, and competitive analyses for stakeholders.
  • You will contribute to the development of company and sub-strategies in cross-functional teams. For example, we work on OTTO's positioning, assortment strategies, and our own goal system.
