We are seeking a Project Controller to join our team in Bryantown, MD.

As a co-pilot in our Project Execution teams, you will serve as the lead finance individual, acting as a project CFO.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong control environment and promoting a no-surprise culture within your project portfolio.

This position serves as a bridge between the operational and financial functions of our organization.

We are looking for individuals who have a track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a matrixed environment, or who have experience working as a business partner to drive success within operational functions.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional project site visits required during critical stages of project execution.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your main responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with project managers to ensure financial success of projects
Providing project forecast preparation, analysis, and reporting to project managers
Working with execution teams to identify and mitigate potential budget and schedule deviations
Managing project financial projections and ensuring forecast accuracy
Reviewing contracts and monitoring performance to drive favorable financial results
Presenting project financial performance to VP/Director of project execution on a monthly basis
Participating in project team meetings to ensure forecast commitments are met
Ensuring correct order
